KDW announces it represented Chicago, IL-based Littelfuse, Inc. with the Intellectual Property due diligence aspect of its acquisition of IXYS Corporation based in Milpitas, CA. The transaction represents an equity value of approximately $750 million and enterprise value of $655 million.
KDW acted as intellectual property counsel for Littelfuse and worked closely with Littelfuse’s deal counsel, Wachtel Lipton Rosen & Katz. Littelfuse products are vital components in virtually every market that uses electrical energy, from consumer electronics to automobiles, commercial vehicles and industrial equipment. IXYS’s business is focused on integrated circuits and power semiconductor markets. The combined company is expected to have annual revenues of approximately $1.5 billion. The deal closed on August 28, 2017.
