Amanda Peyser has over 28 years of in-house legal experience, including 11 years dedicated exclusively to the life sciences bioprocessing industry with publicly traded and private equity-backed companies, adding in-depth, client-side experience to the Firm’s existing in-house perspective. Amanda’s practice focuses on contract drafting, review and negotiation (including intellectual property considerations), due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and corporate compliance and governance.
Prior to joining KDW, Amanda served as the Head of Legal for the Biologics division of Recipharm AB, a global contract development and cGMP manufacturing organization, supporting the legal needs of the US operations, as well as sites in Germany and Portugal. Amanda spent six years as Repligen’s foundational first in-house counsel establishing the company’s global legal department infrastructure from the ground up – most notably designing robust contracts, patent, and global trade compliance processes. During this high-growth period, she built an in-house team of legal professionals and successfully supported the integration of eight business acquisitions. Amanda also served as a lead contract negotiator for GE Healthcare’s Life Sciences division (now Cytiva), following an extensive 17-year tenure in various impactful roles within the legal department at Tyco International.
