Jeffrey M. Chamberlain

Jeffrey Chamberlain has devoted his practice to intellectual property counseling and strategy. As senior principal at KDW, he acts as in-house IP counsel for several companies, providing practical business-oriented legal advice on a range of IP-related issues, including nuanced scenarios that fall outside typical patent and trademark prosecution. Under his guidance, clients identify their most valuable IP and protect their innovations efficiently.

With the belief that practical advice must be tied to sound business practices, Jeffrey provides clients with the legal context and implications needed to make decisions that avoid unnecessary risks while developing a clear understanding of the risks required.

Jeffrey’s mechanical engineering education first led him to a role as supervisor of nuclear reactor plant fluid systems engineering. Prior to a pivot to law and his tenure at KDW, he amassed experience in private practice as well as internationally accredited firms.
