With nearly a decade of law experience, Whitcomb (Whit) Scott provides a solutions-centered approach to client counseling in all phases of intellectual property protection and procurement. As counsel at KDW, his primary focus lies in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Holding several issued patents himself, Whit is uniquely positioned to advise clients within a wide range of industry and technology.

Prior to pursuing a career in law and ultimately joining KDW, Whit worked as a mechanical engineer where he amassed criticall experience with fortifying intellectual property and successfully filing patents.
