He has secured computer hardware patents, such as processor architecture, memory chips, modems, 2D/3D scanners, IoT systems, cloud computing systems, etc. He has also secured computer software patents, such as operating systems, virtual machines, blockchain applications, mobile applications, software testing systems, database systems, cloud computing, etc. Some example areas related to these applications include Artificial Intelligence: neural network architectures, neural network hardware chips, resistive processing units and their applications in natural language processing solutions, object detection and scanning solutions, computer-assisted surgery solutions, computer vision solutions, etc.; Vehicle Technology: automated driver assistance, V2V communications, infotainment systems, steering systems, exhaust systems, etc.; 3D measurement and imaging: 2D/3D scanners, photogrammetry, SLAM-based solutions, etc.; Telecommunications: modems, IoT-based solutions, security systems, etc.
Before switching to the field of law, Tanmay was an engineer at a biomedical device manufacturing and automation company. He has hands-on experience with algorithm development, parallel programming, GPUs, testing, etc. Tanmay is an inventor on several patents himself.
