Amy collaborates with and translates ideas and information between inventors, attorneys, and business executives to develop, grow, and maintain patent portfolios. As part of her clients’ teams, she works closely with companies to maximize the benefits of their intellectual property.
In particular, Amy manages patent portfolios for clients of all sizes, including large and mid-sized publicly traded and Fortune 500 companies and small privately owned companies. She specializes in both domestic and international patent preparation and prosecution and has extensive experience practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, most notably in the fields of security systems, telecommunications systems, software-based systems, IoT devices and systems, ambient condition detection systems, antennas, control systems, detection and measurement technologies, electronics, fire and smoke detection systems, gas detection systems, and mechanical and electro-mechanical devices.
